Christopher Brett Caywood, 36, a resident of Crossville, passed away Tuesday, March 7, 2023, at a local healthcare facility. He attended Faith Assembly Church in Crossville. He loved his I Pad, playing his keyboards, and other musical toys. He also loved watching preachers and gospel teachers on his I Pad. One of Brett’s favorite activities was swinging at the park.

He was preceded in death by his father, J. Grant Caywood.

He is survived by his mother, Vicki Caywood; his grandparents, Jimmy and Arlene Caywood of Cleveland; and one brother, Jeremy Grant Caywood (Abigail) of Joshua, TX. Several uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces, and one nephew also survive.

A graveside service will be conducted at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 11, 2023, at Hopewell Cemetery in Cleveland, Tennessee Reverend Jim Caywood officiating with Jeremy Caywood, Mikel Caywood, David Caywood, James Caywood, Hoyle Johnson, and Ted Murphy serving as pallbearers. A white dove release ceremony will conclude the service.

A celebration of life will be conducted at 12:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 12, 2023, at Faith Assembly Church in Crossville, Tennessee with Reverend Jim Caywood and Reverend Steven Pickard officiating.

The family will receive friends prior to the graveside service from 2:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, at Ralph Buckner Funeral Home in Cleveland, Tennessee.
