Christi Annette Martin, age 54, passed away Friday, December, 1, 2023. She was a woman of faith, kindness, and curiosity, and a true representation of Proverbs 31.
Christi was many things: wife, adored member of Church of the Harvest, daughter, sister—though she would prefer to be described as “mother.” Christi dedicated her life to her daughters, Ashley and Emily Grace “Gracie.”
Christi was classic, elegant, and creative—through her wedding decorating business, she helped brides develop a vision for their perfect day with no detail ignored upon completion. Because of Christi’s hospitality, the Martin household was the ideal place for gatherings—if Christi planned it, the party would be spectacular, both in terms of refreshments and decor.
Christi had an aspirational relationship with life and with Christ. Her ability to instill passionate love for God in the midst of darkness is a trait that will follow her legacy.
Christi is survived by beloved husband Chuck; daughters and sons in law Ashley (Kevin) Zarif and Gracie (Griffin) Hill; parents: Douglas and Sandra Cofer; brother: Alan Cofer.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, December 9th from 3-5pm at Poole Funeral Home with a service following at 5pm at 3000 Ralph Buckner Blvd NE Cleveland, TN 37311.
In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to “Christi Martin’s Medical Bills Go Fund Me account” organized by Melanie Wylie.
The family respectfully requests, if you are able, to make donations to Christi's go fund me page to assist with medical expenses incurred during her illness. All thoughts, prayers, and donations are greatly appreciated during this difficult time.
