Charlotte Cross

Charlotte Cross, age 62, a lifelong resident of Cleveland passed away Wednesday, January 19, 2022 in Cleveland, TN surrounded by her family. She was a member of Samples Memorial Baptist Church. Her faith was evident by the way she lived her everyday life. She worked in the family business at Young’s Auto Body for many years. She enjoyed reading, traveling, and most of all being with her family. She especially enjoyed her grandkids and attending their sporting events.

She was preceded in death by her parents Charles and Tunice Young.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her husband of 43 years, Ronnie Cross; children Josh Cross (Leslie) and Jaimee Bettis (Wade); brothers Greg Young (Lisa) and David Young (Ayen); four grandchildren: Chandler Cross (12), Aniston Cross (11), Hannah Cross (7), and Sawyer Bettis (9); special friend Helen Semak.

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, January 22, 2022 at 12:30 pm at Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with the Rev. Renny Whittenbarger officiating.  Interment will follow the service at Samples Memorial Baptist Church Cemetery with Chandler Cross, Kevin Young, Wade Bettis, Kolton Perry, Mike Nix, Andy Semak, and Sawyer Bettis serving as pallbearers. A white dove release ceremony and the playing of bagpipes will conclude the service.

The family will receive friends from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Saturday prior to the service at the funeral home.
