C. L. "Tick" Shelton

C. L. “Tick” Shelton, 88, a resident of Ocoee, TN, passed away Saturday, October 10, 2020 at his residence. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force. He was a 32 degree mason, and was a member of the Scottish Rites.

He was preceded in death by his father, James Shelton; mother, Lillie McNelly; brothers Wallace Shelton, James R. Shelton; sisters Ruth Bates, Kathleen Shelton, and Ezna Pritchard.

He is survived by daughter, Teresa Shelton of Cleveland, TN; several nieces and nephews; and special nephew, James Standridge.

A Masonic service will be conducted at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, October 16, 2020 in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home. A white dove release ceremony and the playing of bagpipes will conclude the service.

The family will receive friends on Friday, October 16, 2020 from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
