Bobby (Bob) Allen Brown

Bobby (Bob) Allen Brown, 90, of Cleveland, passed away on Monday, October 24, 2022 at his residence surrounded by his family.  He was born in Calhoun, Tennessee, and had attended the Cleveland Christian Fellowship Church for many years.

He enlisted in the U.S. Navy in October 1951 and served honorably aboard the USS Collett Naval Destroyer during the Korean War.  He was a retiree of Magic Chef where he had worked as a long distance truck driver for more than 40 years.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Lula Brown; sister Flora Hiefner; brothers, Troy Brown, Lee Brown, Bill Brown; and great-grandson Jaxson Lucas Post.

He is survived by his loving wife, Evelyn Haney Brown; son, Steve Brown and wife Shannon of Dunedin, FL; three grandchildren, Morgan Brown Post and husband Justin of Marietta, GA, Logan Munsey and wife Hannah of Pensacola, FL, and Cameron Munsey of Marietta, GA; great-great daughter, Rylee Post; brothers, Don Brown and wife Linda and Wayne Brown; and many nieces and nephews also survive.

A celebration of his life will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, October 28, 2022, in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home and Crematory with Reverend John Mathis officiating.  Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens with Logan Munsey, Justin Post, Ronnie Brown, Mikey Gallaher, Terry Gallaher, James Moser, and Wayne Brown serving as pallbearers.  Military honors, a white dove release ceremony, and the playing of bagpipes will conclude the service.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 27, 2022 at the funeral home.  The family will also receive friends from 1-1:30 p.m. on Friday prior to the service.
