His beloved wife of 65 years, Charlotte Jacobs, stood as a pillar of strength by his side, embodying the beauty of a lifelong partnership built on love and commitment. His daughters, Sherri Lynn Hawes and Sandra Joy Jacobs, were the beneficiaries of his boundless love and guidance, nurturing a bond that transcends time.
The light of Billy's life shone brightly upon his grandchildren: Erin Marie LeBrun, Heather Diane Lewis, Morgan Ashley Lopez, and Savannah Leigh Gunnells. A celebration of Billy's remarkable life will be held at Hopewell Church of God on August 16, 2024, at 11:00 am, with a viewing preceding the service at 10:00 am. Following the service, a graveside service will take place at Chattanooga National Cemetery at 2:00 pm, where Billy will find eternal rest.
