Betty Jean Cofer

Betty Jean Cofer, 82, of Cleveland passed away Wednesday, October 18, 2023 at a local hospice facility.  She was of a member of Westwood Baptist Church.  Betty retired from Bradley Memorial Hospital after several years as a unit clerk.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Samuel and Jessie Ellis; sisters, Ruth Williams, Laura Bacon; brothers, Andy Ellis, Carrol Ellis and Paul Ellis

Survived by her husband of 61 years, Taylor (Bozy) Cofer;  children, Troy Cofer, Mike Cofer (Angela); grandchildren, Rebekah Reed (Bryan), Joshua Cofer, Dustin Cofer (Monica), Mitchell Cofer (Rachael Donovan); Seven great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews;  brother Harry Ellis.

Funeral service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Saturday, October 21, 2023, with Pastor Nolan Phillips officiating, in the chapel of Poole – Serenity Funeral Home and Cremation Services.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
