Berl Eugene Miller

Berl Eugene Miller, 76 of Cleveland, TN went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, September 24th, 2023. 

Berl was born and raised in the Old Field Community of Cleveland, attended Blythe Avenue Elementary school and Bradley High School. He studied Business Management at Cleveland State Community College and retired after 40 years as a Shipping Supervisor with Duracell. Berl was a dedicated member of the First Baptist Church of Cleveland and was known for his ability to quote scripture and loved to tell everyone about Jesus. Outside of work Berl enjoyed fishing and wood working. He was a happy, positive man, with a near constant smile on his face. If Berl wasn’t smiling he was whistling a happy tune. Berl was a dedicated and loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend who will be dearly missed. 

Berl was preceded in death by his parents, Ernest and Gladys Miller; brother, Kenneth Miller; and sister-in-law, Karen Miller. 

Survivors include his loving wife of almost 50 years, Charlotte Miller; daughters, Heather (Todd) Lenderman and Amy (Rick) Williams; grandchildren: Parker Lenderman and Cierra Williams; brothers, Dennis (Nancy) Miller and Terry Miller; sister-in-law, Holly (Mike) Goodman; and several nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews. 

The family will receive friends on Thursday, September 28th, 2023 from 11am until the funeral hour at 1pm in the Ralph Buckner Funeral Home & Crematory. Interment will follow in the Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.
