Allen Ray Earwood

July 16, 1952 — November 20, 2022

Allen Ray Earwood, 70, of Old Fort, TN, passed away on Sunday, November 20, 2022, in a local hospital. Born in Cleveland, Allen has lived in the area his entire life, and was a member of Ocoee Church of God. He was a retired self-employed mechanic, and enjoyed antique cars, dirt track racing, and camping. He also loved spending time with his children and grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Claude Allen Earwood and Gladys Mae Bain Earwood; and sister, Lisa Earwood.

He is survived by his loving wife, Mary Elizabeth Ross Earwood; three children, Crystal Lynn Corbin and husband Johnny of Old Fort, Harold Marvin Catlett of McDonald, and Adam Ray Earwood and wife Kristie of Old Fort; seven grandchildren, Josh Catlett, Eric Catlett, Tyler Catlett, Shelby Catlett, Alexis Patton, Codie Ball, and Austin Bryant; as well as several great-grandchildren; six brothers, Eddie Earwood, David Earwood, Jimmy Dean Earwood, Philip Earwood, Virgil Earwood, and Tiny Earwood; three sisters, Jane Ross, Juanita Ross, and Nancy Martinez; and several nieces and nephews also survive.

A celebration of his life will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Friday, November 25, 2022, at the Ocoee Church of God, in Ocoee, Tennessee, with Reverend Jeff Ross and Pastor Michael Whitmire officiating.  The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. on Friday at the church prior to the service.
