Alice Viola Snyder

Alice Viola Kipe Snyder age 92, of Cleveland went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, March 6, 2024, at Tennova Hospital in Cleveland. In her fulfilling life, Alice loved doing puzzles, bingo, gardening, and was a voracious reader. She loved the Lord and was a member of First Cumberland Presbyterian Church. Alice was known by all as a loving mother to her children and "Nana" to her grandchildren.

Alice is preceded in death by her loving husband, Lawrence Snyder Jr. "Poppy" ; beloved parents, Lester and Helen Kipe as well as three of her brothers and two of her sisters.

Those left to cherish her memory include her daughters, Kathy (Wade) Murdock, Linda (Steve)

Willingham; sons, Doug (Lisa) Smith and John R. Snyder; brothers, Robert Kipe and William

Kipe; sister, Ann Blalock; grandchildren, Aaron (Jessica) Murdock, Jaime (Nate) Snell, John (Noelle) Willingham, Michelle Willingham, Ashley (AJ) Ferkovich, Andrew (Paige) Smith, as well as several nieces, nephews, great grandchildren and extended family.

The family would like to extend a very special thank you to the Garden Plaza Community.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial donations be made to "The Caring Place" in Alice's honor.

A memorial service to celebrate Alice's life will be held at Poole Funeral Home of Cleveland on Friday, April 26, 2024, at 2:00 pm with Rev. Cliff Hudson officiating.
