Gary M. Chumney

Gary M. Chumney, 78, of Cleveland passed away Sunday, August 7, 2016 in a Georgia healthcare facility. He retired from the transportation industry where he was a contractor for Fedex Ground.  He was a veteran of the US Navy and was of the Methodist faith.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Burchiel and Neva Lee Chumney; and son, Scott Chumney.

He is survived by his wife, Doris Morris Chumney of Cleveland; daughter, Kimesa Stafford and husband, Gregg of Stockbridge, GA; grandchildren, Noah Stafford and Joshua Stafford of Stockbridge, GA.

Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, August 10, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Fike-Randolph & Son Funeral Home.

His family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home.
