Katherine D. Brown

Katherine D. Brown, 88, of Cleveland, passed away Friday, September 2, 2016 in a local healthcare facility. She was a member of Broad Street United Methodist Church. Mrs. Brown was employed with the Cleveland City School System as a teacher’s aid for 20 years  and formerly owned and operated Mrs. Brown’s Nursey School for several years.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Carl and May Pierce Dooley; and her husband, Oscar Phillip Brown, Jr.

Survivors include her children, Phil Brown and wife Kathy of Chattanooga, Martha Brown and Jim Brown both of Cleveland; and grandchildren: Charles Brown, Sarah Cook, Rodney Scoggins, Alicia McGaha, Jamie Brown and Brandi Cripe; and 10 great grandchildren.

The funeral will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 4, 2016 in the chapel of Fike-Randolph & Son Funeral Home with Reverend Randy Martin and Reverend Debbie Stokes officiating.  Interment will follow in Hilcrest Memorial Gardens.

Her family will receive friends from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. on Sunday at the funeral home prior to the service.
