Gwen Longwith

Gwen Longwith, 79, of Charleston, passed away Wednesday, October 5, 2016 in a local hospital.   She retired as an owner/operator of Maple Grove Restaurant in Charleston.  Gwen attended North Cleveland Baptist church.  She was a UT fan, loved her coffee and her favorite television show was NCIS.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles “Preacher” Longwith; parents, Kelly and Margaret Munn Stancel; and son, Kenny Longwith.

Survivors include her son, Jimmy Longwith and wife, Donna of SC; sisters, Marilyn Moynihan of Alabama and Mildred Taylor of Trenton, GA; and a host of friends.

The funeral will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, October 7, 2016 in the chapel of Fike-Randolph & Son Funeral Home with Pastor Corey Miller officiating.  Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens.

Her family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home.
