Max Liner

He was preceded in death by his wife of 59 years, Sue Kelley Liner; parents, Jess and May Liner; and two sisters, Pat Jones and Ruth Varnell.

Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law, Craig and Karen Hopper Liner of Cleveland; two grandchildren, Asher Liner and Ariana Liner; two sisters, Faye Collins and Sue Chambers and husband, Elmer, all of Cleveland; brother-in-law, Winston Varnell of Cleveland; and two nephews, Brian and Jay Collins, both of Cleveland.

The funeral will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 17, 2016 in the chapel of Fike-Randolph & Son Funeral Home with Dr. Mark Williams officiating.  A private interment will be held on Friday at Fort Hill Cemetery.

His family will receive friends on Thursday from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home prior to the service.

The family requests that memorials be made to Love Nancy (local non-profit for Alzheimer’s disease and those with special needs), 697 Blythewood Rd. SW, Cleveland TN  37311.
