Margarita "Maggie" Hayes

Margarita “Maggie” Hayes, 72, of Cleveland, passed away Monday, November 21, 2016 at a local health care facility.  She was a manager with Trinity Broadcasting Network for several years.  Mrs. Hayes was a member of New Life Bible Church where she worked side-by-side as wife and personal assistant to her husband, the Reverend Norvel Hayes.  She also worked in ladies’ seminars alongside the late, Zona Hayes Morrow.  She was a talented musician and played both the piano and clarinet. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Victoriano Garza and Santitos Moreno; daughter, Zona Hayes Morrow; brothers, Roberto Garza and Ismael Garza; sister, Sara Garza; and niece, Monica.

Survivors include her husband, the Reverend Norvel Hayes of Cleveland; granddaughter, Lee Cornelison of Georgetown; three brothers, Jose Garza of Harlingen, TX, Santos Garza of Dallas, TX and Rudolpho Garza of Indianapolis, IN; ten nieces, Victoria, Debbie, Nelda, Diandra, Selena, Karen, Regina, Sonja, Rosie and Roxy; and one nephew, Richard.

The funeral will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, November 25, 2016 at New Life Bible Church with Pastor Elaine Hollmer officiating.  Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens with a white dove release ceremony concluding the service.

Her family will receive friends from 11:00-1:30 p.m. at the church prior to the service.
