Mattie Lou Cartwright

Mattie Lou Morrow Cartwright, 94, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Tuesday, January 31, 2017 at a local health care facility.  She was a member of North Cleveland Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jesse Morrow and Muncie McKinney Morrow; daughter, Kimberly Cartwright; sisters, Stella Morrow, Allie Earby, Kay Goodner, May Haney, Mellie Colloms and Edith Gibson; and brothers, Clifton Morrow and R.L. Morrow.

Survivors include her husband, Elmer Cartwright; siblings, John (Mary) Morrow, Hazel Hughes, Haskel (Betty) Morrow, Joyce Dantzler, Jean McDonald and Betty Morrow; and several nieces, nephews and other family members.

The funeral will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, February 3, 2017 in the chapel of Fike-Randolph & Son Funeral Home with Dr. Jay McCluskey officiating.  The interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens with nephews serving as pallbearers.  A white dove release ceremony will conclude the service.

Her family will receive friends from 12:00 - 2:00 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home prior to the service.
