Oather Carroll “Buck” Small, 90, of Mims, FL and a former resident of Cleveland, passed away Saturday, May 6, 2017 in Florida. He was a veteran of the United States Army and served during World War II. Buck was a retired auto mechanic. He was a member of the North Cleveland Church of God.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert E. and Grace Vandelle Small; daughter, Narsa Buck; four brothers; and one sister.
Survivors include his wife, Barbara Wilson Small of Mims, FL; sons, William “Bucky” Small and wife, Aletha and Robert “Buck” Small and wife, Michelle, all of Florida; daughter, Connie Small of Michigan; eight grandchildren, Ashley Walker, James Small, Jacob Small, Alex Small, Hannah Small, Colby Small, Zachery Small and Scott Elston; several great grandchildren; brother, Roger Small of Ohio; and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 11, 2017 in the chapel of Fike-Randolph & Son Funeral Home with Dr. Mark Williams officiating. The interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens with military honors.
His family will receive friends from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home.
