Joan Ryan Barrett

Joan Ryan Barrett, 86, of Cleveland, passed away Wednesday, September 13, 2017 at her home.  She was a parishioner at St. Therese of Lisieux Catholic Church.  Joan had a special devotion to the rosary which she prayed every evening.  She was a devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Clifford Barrett; parents, Thomas and Mary Murphy Ryan; and daughter, Patricia Barrett Bradam.

Survivors include her children, Sandra Barrett Rhodes of Cleveland and Clifford Owen (Ira) Barrett of Fayetteville, NC; grandchildren, Jeanette Marie Bradam Silver, Treena Rhodes (Frank) Dolence and Jonathon Edward (April) Barrett, all of Cleveland; great grandchildren, Megan Elizabeth Teeter, Ashley Silver (Hunter) Longley and Daniel Barfels; sisters, Mary Thornton of New York, NY and Sr. Marie Bernadetta “Rose” of Fall River, MA; brother, John Ryan of San Diego, CA; and several nieces and nephews.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, September 18, 2017 at St. Therese of Lisieux Catholic Church with Father Mike Nolan presiding.

Her family will receive friends from 4:00-7:00 p.m. on Sunday at Fike-Randolph & Son Funeral Home. 

The family requests that memorials be made to St. Therese of Lisieux Catholic Church, 900 Clingan Ridge Drive NW, Cleveland TN  37312.
