Vernice Prescott

Vernice Prescott, 87, of Cleveland, passed away Thursday, December 7, 2017 at her residence.  She was of the Church of God faith.  She went to sleep and woke up in the arms of God. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence William Simmons and Susie Tidwell Simmons; husband, Cecil Prescott; and five siblings. 

Survivors include her children, Pat Bembry and husband, Gary and Rick Prescott, all of Cleveland and Terry Prescott and wife, Dolores of Ooltewah; seven grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; three sisters; two brothers; and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
