Theresa M. Sherrod

Theresa M. Sherrod, 76, a resident of Georgetown, passed away Wednesday, February 28, 2018, at Memorial Hospital in Chattanooga.  She was a native of Baltimore, Maryland.  Theresa was a former employee with Walmart for 10 years.  She formerly attended St. Therese of Lisieux Catholic Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Mildred Newman.

She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Henry E. Sherrod, Sr. of Georgetown; two sons: Henry Sherrod, Jr. and wife, Wendy of Bonaire, Georgia and Thomas David Sherrod of Georgetown; two grandchildren: Steven Sherrod and wife, Jennifer of Chattanooga, and Dylen Sherrod of Bonaire, Georgia; and three great grandchildren.

A gathering of friends will be 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 6, 2018, at Fike-Randolph & Son Funeral home.  A prayer service will follow with Father Mike Nolan presiding.
