Charles Edwin Oliver

Charles Edwin Oliver, 86, a life-long resident of Cleveland, passed away, Wednesday, February 6, 2019 at his home.  He was a member of Eastside Church of Christ and a well known electrician.  He was a veteran of the Army National Guard.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Brenda Ratcliff Oliver; parents, Columbus Monroe Oliver and Maude Eslinger Oliver and brother, Carl Wayne Oliver.

He is survived by his wife, Gertrude Oliver of Cleveland; five step-children, Janet Manley (Mike) of Aniston, AL, Myrna Griffin (Rob) of Portland, OR, Jim Daniel of Trenton, GA, Jack Daniel (Sharon) of Crossville and  J.R. Daniel (Deb) of Georgetown; sisters, Esta Mae Jones and Pauline Oliver, both of Cleveland; special friends, Jr. Cole and Olan Bennett; several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, February 11, 2019 in the chapel of Fike-Randolph and Son Funeral Home with Minister Jeff Archey officiating.  Interment will follow in Mt. Carmel Cemetery with military honors.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 10, 2019 at the funeral home.
