Clara E. Bazzell

Clara Evelyn West Bazzell, 95, of Cleveland passed away Sunday, August 25, 2019 in a local hospital.  She was the daughter of the late John and Maggie Erwin West of Bradley County.   Clara retired from Cleveland Enamel Plant and Maytag Corporation with 42 1/2 years of service.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Jim Bazzell; two sisters, Edith Mason and Pearl Castello; and four brothers, Bill West, Harvey West, Claude “Peanut” West and Charles West.

Survivors include one sister-in-law and several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, August 30, 2019 in Hilcrest Memorial Gardens with Tommy Castello officiating.  Donald Mason, Tommy Castello, Steve Castello, Barry Rogers, Taylor Beal and Rodney Mason will serve as pallbearers.  A white dove release ceremony will conclude the service.
