Rodolfo Reyes

Rodolfo "Rudy" Reyes, age 85, a resident of Charleston, passed away Tuesday, November 29, 2005 at his home. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army Airforce serving during World War II. Before his retirement, he was employed with General Motors in Pontiac, MI for thirty five years. He attended the Charleston First Baptist Church and was a member of the McMinn County Senior Center and the Bradley County Senior Center. Mr. Reyes was the son of the late Ezequiel and Maria Moldonado Reyes and was also preceded in death by two sons: David Reyes and John Reyes. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Alice Reyes of Charleston; eight children: Theodoro Navarro of Kalkaska, MI, Frances Leppien of Midland, MI, George Navarro of Oxford, MI, Rudy Reyes of Oxford, MI, Robert Reyes of Knoxville, Rosie Reyes of Chattanooga, Linda McCoy of Milford, MI, and Lucy Brooks of Chattanooga; eighteen grandchildren, twenty seven great grandchildren and one great great-grandchild; three brothers: Ezequiel Reyes of Chattanooga, Charlie Reyes of Cleveland, and Ruben Reyes of Lake Orion, MI; two sisters: Rebecca Gutierriez of Calhoun, and Julie Rose of Drydon, MI; and several nieces and nephews.
