Joe Bottoms

Joe Bottoms, age 72, a resident of Cleveland, passed away, Thursday, December 29, 2005 in a local healthcare facility. He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Lou Grace Myers Bottoms. Mr. Bottoms was a well-known dairy farmer in the Charleston community where he was employed for many years on the Eddie Wilson Farm. He was a member of the Temple Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife of almost fifty years, Hazel Beshears Bottoms of Cleveland; six children and spouses: Eddie and Candice Bottoms of Gallatin, TN, Danny Bottoms of Charleston, TN, Robert Gene and Dana Bottoms, Johnny and Donna Bottoms, Tommy and Redetha Bottoms, Billy and Gail Bottoms all of Cleveland; fourteen grandchildren, several great grandchildren; one sister, Lela Brewer of Calhoun, GA; and several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Monday, January 2, 2006 in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Pastor Paul Fox, Pastor Frank Nolan and Pastor Winston Ledford officiating. Interment will follow in Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery at Black Fox with the release of a flock of white doves concluding the ceremony. Thomas Bottoms, Lebron Bottoms, Matthew Bottoms, John Heifner, Randy Thomas, and Horace Newman will serve as pallbearers.
