John Donnie Byrd

John Donald Byrd, age 72, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Monday, January 16, 2006 in a local hospital. He was of the Baptist faith. He was a Bradley Central High School graduate of the class of 1951. He was a veteran of the United States Army serving in the Korean Conflict. Mr. Byrd was the son of the late Jewell H. and Cecil Cash Byrd and was also preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Ann Byrd and one brother, Charles Eugene Byrd. He is survived by three sisters and spouses: Brenda and Jerry Smith, Jetty and Ray Higgins and Patsy Gobble all of Cleveland; two aunts, Jessie Stepp and Florence Cash both of Cleveland; five nieces: Vickie Gobble, Angie Stinnett, Tina Higgins, Tonya Clemmer and Lora Higgins; three nephews: Joe Gobble, Phillip Smith and Jeff Gobble.
