Roy Dallas Murray

Roy D. Murray, 86, of Burlington, North Carolina passed away Wednesday morning February 1, 2006. He was born October 4, 1919; Roy lived most of his life in Burlington, North Carolina, where he was an independent contractor, until he moved to Cleveland, TN eight years ago. Roy was a member of the East Burlington Church of God, and he attended the North Cleveland Church of God. Mr. Murray was a veteran of the United States Army serving in World War II. He was the son of the late John and Eva Wilson Murray and was also preceded in death by his wife, Vivian P. Murray. He is survived by one sister, Frances Turner of Burlington, North Carolina; two sons and daughters-in-law: Danny and Debbie Murray of Cleveland, TN and Doug and Diana Murray of Burlington, North Carolina; five grandchildren: Jeff Murray of Murfreesboro, TN, Kristen Murray Grisham, Lauren Murray, Morgan Murray, and Britt Murray all of Cleveland, TN.
