Ruth Anna Lyles Howell

Ruth Anna Lyles Howell, age 78, a life long resident of Cleveland, passed away Tuesday, February 07, 2006 in a Chattanooga healthcare facility. She attended the Faith Memorial Church and was a member of the Ladies VFW Auxiliary. She was a former employee of Charleston Hosiery Mill. Mrs. Howell was the daughter of the late Carl Edward and Essie Blankenship Lyles and was also preceded in death by her husband, George W. Howell who passed away in 1978 and a brother, Roy Lyles. She is survived by children and spouses: William S. "Steve" and Vickki Howell of Athens and Lisa and Tim Dill of Old Fort; three grandchildren: Stephani Mathews of Lebanon, TN, Jacki Howell of Athens, TN and Carey McCabe of Cleveland; two great-grandchildren, Wade Mathews and Katherine Grace Mathews of Lebanon, TN; two brothers and spouses: Robert and Doris Lyles of Elizabeth, PA and Vance Lyles of Brunswick, Ohio; three sisters and spouses: Katherine and Chuck Lipinski of Rocky River, Ohio, Michelle "Miki" Calogeros of Brunswick, Ohio and Brenda Spensen of Fairview Park, Ohio; three special cousins: Jenny Swafford, Kathy McSpadden and Coleen Foster all of Cleveland; several nieces and nephews also survive.
