Kenneth Ramsey Lonas

Kenneth Ramsey Lonas, age 79, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Thursday, February 16, 2006 in a local hospital. He was a member of the Wesley Memorial United Methodist Church. He was co-owner and vice-president of Lonas Construction Company for forty-two years. He was a member of the Tennessee Road Builder Association and the Civil Air Patrol. Mr. Lonas was the son of the late William and Lucille Ramsey Lonas. He was also preceded in death by his first wife, Martha Barker Lonas and a brother William "Bill" Lonas. He is survived by his wife Noreen Lonas of Cleveland; children: Patricia Lonas Bachus of Henderson, Nevada, Kathryn Lonas Deming of Albany, GA, Kenny Lonas, Jr. and his wife Jaylene of Cleveland and David Lonas of Cleveland; twelve grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; three brothers: Carl S. (Steve) Lonas of Hixson, Jack Lonas of Hixson and Mack Lonas of Chattanooga; several nieces and nephews also survive.
