Margie Lee Cartwright Headrick Murphy, 78, went home to her Lord and Savior on March 14, 2006. She went peacefully from her earthly home to her Eternal Home. She was born in Bradley County to the late William D. and Nellie Brown Cartwright on June 3, 1927. She was preceded in death by her late husband and her children?s father, Robert L. Headrick, Sr., her second husband, Clyde Murphy, and also one brother, William D. Cartwright. She loved the Lord and was blessed with the gift of prayer. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend who loved everyone and saw only the good in others. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. She retired from Bradley Health Care and Rehabilitation Center after 33 years of devoted service. She cared and loved each and every patient and called them her "babies". She was a loving mother to her four children: Linda S. Headrick, Wanda F. Headrick, Randall M. Headrick and fiancée Vergie, and Robert "Bob" Headrick, Jr., and wife, Linda all of Cleveland; six grandchildren: Jennifer Harris Henry and husband Todd, Chad Tucker Brown and fiancée Latica, Misty Headrick Mullins and husband Jeff, Julie Headrick, Sharon Holmes and husband Tony, and Sandy Markham and her husband Mark. Twelve great-grandchildren: Gwendalin Henry, Camden, Hayley, and Hunter Brown, Tyler Mullins, Henley Headrick and Delaney Headrick Bates, Parker and Landon Holmes, and Haylee, Emilee, and Leah Markham. One sister, Dorothy Cartwright of Cleveland, and sister-in-law, Ida Cartwright of Cleveland. She is survived by a host of other beloved family, friends and neighbors, especially Doris Woody and family who cared for her dearly. Her Homecoming celebration will be conducted Friday, March 17, 2006 at 11:00am in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Hilcrest Memorial Gardens with a Dove Release concluding the service. Tucker Brown, James Headrick, Wesley Headrick, Mark Markham, Tony Holmes, and Stacey Smith will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers include Todd Henry and Robert "Bob" Harris. A time of remembrance with family and friends will be Thursday, March 16, 2006 from 4:00 to 8:00pm at the funeral home.
