Ruth Kinser Galloway

Ruth Kinser Galloway, age 87, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Tuesday, March 21, 2006 in a local hospital. She was a charter member of Keith Street Church of God of Prophecy and before her retirement, she was employed as a bookkeeper with the Church of God of Prophecy Headquarters. She published one book and authored poems and articles for the White Wing Messenger. She was the daughter of the late John Parker and Dora Palmer Kinser and was also preceded in death by her husband, H. "Hubert" Ed Galloway, her son, Hubert Don Galloway and an infant son, Dale Galloway. She was also preceded in death by three brothers: J. R. Kinser, Elmo Kinser, Ernest Kinser, and two sisters: Edna Sample and Polly Chancey. She is survived by her daughter, Nancy Carson of Cleveland; daughter-in-law, Nellita Galloway of Cleveland; three grandchildren: Pamela Lance, Chris Galloway, both of Cleveland, and Teresa Brown of Arlington, TX; three great grandchildren; one sister, Dorothy Pruitt of Montgomery, AL; two sisters-in-law: Mary Wilkinson of Cleveland, and Ruth Saunders of Merced, CA; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Friday in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Reverend Gene Weakley, Reverend Mrs. Londa Richardson and Jack Wilkinson. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens with Jerry Lance, Chris Galloway, Jack Wilkinson, Rick Wilkinson, Mark Wilkinson and John Cassidy serving as pallbearers. Her family will receive friends from 5 ? 9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
