George Elliott Hembree

George Elliott Hembree, age 72, a resident of Ducktown, TN, passed away Wednesday, March 22, 2006 in a local hospital. He attended the Unity Church of God. Mr. Hembree was the son of the late Joseph Miller and Nora Mae Allen Hembree. He is survived by the mother of his children: Ora Mullins of Cleveland, TN; eight children and spouses: Billy Ray Hembree of Georgetown, TN, Sandra and Toby Ross of Kingston, TN, Earl Lynn Hembree, Roger and Fay Hembree, Linda Baliles, Thomas Hembree, Rosetta Staton, Tonya and Greg Davenport all of Cleveland, TN; twelve grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; four brothers: David Hembree of Copperhill, TN, Melvin Hembree of Benton, Luther Hembree and Truman Hembree both of Cleveland; three sisters: Mae Hughes of Cleveland, TN Marie Cochran of Copperhill, TN and Bonnie Vines of Cleveland; special friend, Robin Augustonovich of Cleveland; several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Saturday in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Reverend Johnny Prater and Reverend Anthony Wynn officiating. Interment will follow in the Hembree Cemetery. Gene Bowens, Jr., Alex Hembree, Arty Staton, Billy Staton, Lynn Hembree, Stacey Hembree, Trent Lane and Codie Hembree will serve as pallbearers. His family will receive friends from 5-9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
