Joe B Goode

Joe B. Goode, age 73, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Tuesday, April 11, 2006 in a local hospital. He was a member of the Church of Christ. He was a veteran of the United States Airforce serving in Korea. He was a graduate of the University of Tennessee with a law degree and had practiced law for 42 years. He had been active in the Bradley Builders Association. Mr. Goode was the son of the late Calvin and Lela Finnell Goode. He is survived by his wife Sharon Goode of Cleveland; two daughters: Kathy Goode and Cheryl Goode both of Long Branch, NJ; one son and daughter-in-law, Dave and Annissa Wagner of Signal Mountain; five grandchildren: Krystal Nempsey and Joseph Guidetti both of Long Branch, NJ, Nathan Naylor of East Ridge, Jacob A and Spencer Joseph Wagner of Signal Mountain; sister, Rita Sholl of Southampton, MASS; one brother, Wade C. Goode of Cleveland; other mother, Beverly Finnell of Cleveland; two uncles: Earl Finnell and Basil Finnell both of Cleveland; several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services will be conducted at 8:00 p.m. Thursday in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Minister Jeff Archey officiating. Interment will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Friday at Sunset Memorial Gardens with James Roberson, Mitch Kinder, Austin Stevison, Ashley Ownby, Wayne Finnell and Mike Sharp serving as pallbearers. Dave Wagner, Steve Robinson, Roger Jenne, Claude Climer and Joey Guidetti and the Bradley Bar Association will serve as honorary pallbearers. The service will conclude with military honors. His family will receive friends from 4-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home prior to the service. In lieu of flowers memorials may be sent to the charity of your choice.
