Hazel M Graves

May 29, 1923 — April 23, 2006

Hazel M. Graves, age 82, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Sunday, April 23, 2006 in a local hospital. She was a member of Westwood Baptist Church where she was a member of the Joy Givers Sunday School Class. She was a welder for war effort during World War II in Lufkin, Texas. Mrs. Graves was the daughter of the late Richard Yancy and Treacy Marie O?Quinn Rhodes and was also preceded in death by her husband, Boyd Graves and her son, Jim Graves. She is survived by two nieces: Charlene Cofer and her husband, Bryan and Melanie Marshall and her husband, Jay all of Cleveland; brother-in-law, Alton Quine and wife, Jerry of Cleveland; godson, Jeff Studtman and wife Teresa of Michigan City, MI; three special nieces: Pat Ownby and husband, Ashley of Cleveland, Kaye Miles of Knoxville, and Kim Lawson and husband, John of Cleveland. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday in the chapel of Fike Funeral Home with Pastor Jim Caywood and Pastor Brian Mowery officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens with the Joy Givers Sunday School Class serving as honorary pallbearers. Her family will receive friends from 6-9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Bradley Memorial Hospital Hospice, 175 24th Street, Cleveland, Tennessee 37311-9930.
