Essie Marie Mullinax, 70, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Tuesday, August 26, 2014. She was a member of East Side Church of Christ. She was retired from Rubbermaid.
Mrs. Mullinax was preceded in death by her husband, Dennis Mullinax; father, Henry Clay Millsap; mother, Geneva Louise Yates Leamon and step father, Leroy Leamon; one brother, Terry Millsap; one sister, Elizabeth Millsap.
She is survived by her four children: James L. Dodson and wife, Adisa of Schwarcenbach, Germany, Martha M. Phillips of Shreveport, LA, Tammy D. Goodner and Patricia G. Presswood both of Cleveland; 8 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Ina Walker and husband, Bobby of Cleveland and Thelma Arledge of Chattanooga; two brothers, Henry Millsap and wife, Judy of Cleveland and Wayne Leamon and wife, Lisa of Old Fort.
A memorial service will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. Monday, September 1, 2014 at the East Side Church of Christ with Minister Jeff Archey officiating.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Monday at the church prior to the service.
The family suggests memorials be made to the East Side Church of Christ, 252 Wildwood Avenue, SE, Cleveland, TN 37311.
