Gwendolyn E. Fowler, 89, of Cleveland, passed away at her home on September 10, 2014. She had recently moved from Rochester, N.Y.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, O.B. Fowler and her sister, Wilda.
She loved her family dearly and always put their needs before those of her own. She was generous to a fault, and was always appreciative of any kindness given to her. The simple things in life brought a smile to her face: her great grandchildren, hummingbirds, orchids, and a good cup of coffee, frying pan toast, and just recently-Zaxby’s original chicken wings. That love and that smile will be missed. We have been blessed by her touch, and now we are blessed with our memories of her.
She is survived by her daughter, Sylvia Ingraham and husband, Kenneth; sons: Ray Fowler, Ben Fowler and wife, Barbara, Ivie Fowler and wife, Jenny; grandchildren: Mary Hernandez and husband, Scotty, Ruth Ingraham, Ben Fowler, Jr. and wife Stacey; great-grandchildren: Gideon and Abby Hernandez.
There are no funeral services scheduled at this time.
Ralph Buckner Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of the arrangements.
