Landon Davon Thompson, 18, a resident of Cleveland passed away Friday, May 23, 2014 at his residence. He was a Nashville high school graduate and was employed by Comet Bounce party rentals.
Landon was preceded in death by a special cousin and friend, Brett Caroll.
Landon is survived by his father, Robert Steven Thompson, Yazoo, MS, and mother, Tracy Thompson Welker, Nashville, TN; two sisters, Tori Thompson, Cleveland, and Cara Owenby, Alexandria, VA; special grandparents who raised him, Elizabeth Thompson and Larry Scroggins, Cleveland; grandfathers, Steve Thompson, Cleveland, and Jack McCanless, Nashville, TN; great grandparents, Glenn and Ruby Thompson, Cleveland; special aunt, Pamela Thompson, Cleveland; aunts, Stephanie McCoy and husband Darrell, Cleveland, and Tricia McCanless, Nashville; uncle, Jack McCanless, Jr., Nashville; cousins, Jason and Kami Kirkendall, Christopher and Jessica Fink; and many special friends.
Funeral services will be held at 6:00 p.m. Thursday, May 29, 2014 in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Pastor Anthony Howard officiating.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 – 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 29, 2014 at the funeral home prior to the service.
