James Hobson Madison, Jr., 81, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Tuesday, May 27, 2014 in a local hospital.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Jackie Middleton Madison; mother, Donice Impson Madison; father, James Hobson Madison, Sr., from Mississippi; brother, Jackie Madison of Plano, TX, sister, Ramona Mardis and brother-in-law, Ed Mardis of Natchez, MS.
Survivors include his wife, Mildred Blair Madison; brothers, Joseph Madison and wife, Glynis of Mobile, AL, and Jerome Madison and wife, Ava of McComb, MS; sisters, Delores Sequest and husband, Bert of California; son, Jamie Madison, III and wife, Michelle of Brookhaven, MS; daughter, Deborrah Bise and husband, Rick of Cleveland, TN; grandchildren: Nathan, Jordan, Elaina, Jacqueline Madison all of Brookhaven, MS, Lindsey Bise of Cleveland, TN; step-daughter, Melinda Varnell, step-son, Ralph Blair, Jr.of Cleveland, TN, step-grandchildren: Katie and Chris Varnell, Megan Blair, Ashley Demers and husband, Brandon, step-great-granddaughter, McKenleigh Blair Adams, step great-grandson, Brock Hudson Demers, and special friends; Martha Jones, Bebe Jones Proctor and Steve Clark.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, May 31, 2014 at ll:00 A.M.at Central Church of Christ here in Cleveland.
