Donna M. Richardson, 78, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Sunday, June 15, 2014 in a Chattanooga healthcare facility. She was a charter member of Cleveland Cornerstone Church. She was a teacher’s assistant with Bradley County Schools for 45 years.
Mrs. Richardson was the daughter of the late Henry Hanson and Bertina Marie Holvack Hanson and was also preceded in death by 6 brothers and 4 sisters.
She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Wendell (Abby) Richardson of Cleveland; two children: Cindy Richardson and Andy Richardson both of Cleveland; two grandchildren: Rachel Richardson and Brook Richardson both of Cleveland; two great-grandchildren: Jacob Cummings and Alison Cummings of Cleveland; several nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 17, 2014 in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Pastor Herbert Conley and Pastor Barry Fowler officiating. Interment will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 18, 2014 at Sunset Memorial Gardens with a white dove release ceremony concluding the service.
The family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home prior to the service.
The family requests that memorials be made to Hospice of Chattanooga Foundation, P.O. Box 19269, Chattanooga, TN 37416 or the Cornerstone Church.
