Jannie Mosley, 60, a resident of Charleston, passed away Sunday, June 29, 2014 at the family residence with her family by her side. She was a member of United Pentecostal Church of Cleveland where she was a beloved Sunday School teacher. Jannie was a 1972 graduate of Bradley Central High School. She retired from Life Care of Cleveland after 12 years of service.
Mrs. Mosley was preceded in death by her father, Johnny Lott; daughter, Angela Jacobs and aunt, Gladys Hurst.
She is survived by her husband, James D. Mosley, Sr. of Charleston; mother, Lorene Lott of Cleveland; three children: Salinena Sizemore and husband, Trey of Calhoun; Rhonda Bandy and husband, Stephen of Cleveland and Norman Jacobs and wife, Angie of Athens; five step-children: James Mosley, Jr of Cleveland; Paul Mosley of Nebraska; Mark Mosley of Montana; Scott Mosley of Idaho; and Krista Mosley of Nebraska; 17 grandchildren; one sister, Brenda Lott Kendricks of Cleveland and one brother, Timothy Lott of Cleveland.
Funeral services will be held at 12:30 p.m. Thursday, July 3, 2014 in the United Pentecostal Church with Pastor William Robinson and Pastor James V. Coombs officiating. Interment will be held at 2:30 p.m. Thursday in Chattanooga National Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 2, 2014 at Ralph Buckner Funeral Home.
