Rita A. Pike, 61, a resident of Charleston, passed away Wednesday, July 9, 2014 at the family residence. She was a member of Woodland Acres Baptist Church in Calhoun.
Mrs. Pike was preceded in death by her father, James Anderson Lamb and her son, Kenneth Huntsinger.
She is survived by her husband, Melvin O. Pike of Charleston; mother, Mary Frances Lamb of Cleveland; five children: Stacey Haney of Charleston, Michelle Rose of Calhoun, Michael Pike of Charleston, Linda Gail Black of Old Fort and Lora Faye Osment of Chatsworth, Georgia; 12 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; two sisters, Teresa Sherrill of Athens and Robin Marchant of Cleveland; several nieces and nephews also survive.
A memorial service will be held at 5:00 p.m. Sunday, July 20, 2014 at the New Beginnings Fellowship Church with Pastor Josh Taylor officiating.
Ralph Buckner Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of the arrangements.
