Jacqueline Cathey

Jacqueline “Jackie” Ingram Cathey, 76, a lifelong resident of Cleveland, passed away Sunday, July 27, 2014 at the family residence. She was a member of the Evening Light Gospel Tabernacle.
Mrs. Cathey was preceded in death by her husband, James F. Cathey, Jr and her parents, James Goldman Ingram and Elsie Mae Mullinax Gates; two children: Dale Cathey and Kim Cathey; two siblings: Norma Jean Johnson and Ernest Ingram; several nieces and nephews.
She is survived by her three children: Mark Cathey and wife, Rebecca (Becky) of Cleveland, Tab Cathey of Calhoun, TN, Mitchell Gentry and Betty of Cleveland; eleven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; one sister, Delores Beaty and husband, Reverend Bill Beaty of Cleveland. She is also survived by her long time partner, Arlie Green.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, July 31, 2014 in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Reverend Bill Beaty officiating. Interment will follow in Red Hill Cemetery with a white dove release ceremony concluding the service. Ricky Beaty, Clinton Beaty, Colt Cathey, Nolan Cathey, Sammy Brown and Jerry Robinson will serve as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 30, 2014 at the funeral home.
