Johnnie Wrinkle Whitten, 80, a lifelong resident of McDonald passed away Friday, August 8, 2014 at a local hospital.
She retired from Peytons Southeastern.
She was preceded in death by two sons: David Bell and Robert Lee Bell; and three brothers: Lawrence Wrinkle, Bud Wrinkle, and Johnny Wrinkle.
She is survived by her husband Ray Eugene Whitten of McDonald; one son: Willis Bell and wife Brenda of Rossville; one step-daughter: Kimberly Woodell and husband Sam of McDonald; three grandchildren: Matthew Bell, Jacob Bell, and Jennifer Moore; two brothers-in-law: Mike Whitten and wife Carol, and Paul Whitten and wife Karen; and nephews: Eddie Wrinkle, Evan Wrinkle, and Emory Wrinkle.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, August 12, 2014 at Lee Cemetery in McDonald with Rev. Joe Collins officiating. Mike Whitten, Paul Whitten, and Sam Woodell will serve as pallbearers. A white dove release ceremony will conclude the service.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday, August 11, 2014 at the funeral home.
