Evelyn Goins Denton, 95, resident of Cleveland, passed away Friday, August 15, 2014, in a local healthcare facility. She was a native of Cleveland and a member of North Cleveland Church of God.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd J. Denton; parents, Austin and Jennie Parks Goins; son, Charles D. Denton; two brothers, John F. and William A. Goins; sister, Ruby Duncan; and two daughters-in-law, Janette Denton and Betty Denton.

She is survived by her two sons, Paul Denton of Cleveland and James Denton of Flovilla, GA; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, August, 18, 2014, at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Rev. Tom Wickes officiating. Interment will follow in Hilcrest Memorial Gardens, concluding with a white dove release ceremony.

The family will receive friends from 5:00-8:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 17, 2014, at the funeral home.
