Cassie Lou Clingan, 91, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Sunday, March 02, 2014, at her home in Cleveland.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Edward Clingan, and her parents, John and Maggie Lovin. She was also preceded in death by her son, Leon Clingan, granddaughter, Tina Clingan, brothers: Sterlin Lovin, Carl Lovin, Herman Lovin, Earl Lovin and Guy Lovin; and sisters: Ruth Roach, Martha Lovin and Celo Patton.
She is survived by her son, Charles Clingan of Cleveland; one brother, Roy Lovin; six grandchildren: Charlie Clingan and wife Kathleen, James Clingan, Sheila McLain, Eddie Clingan, Rita Womble and Debbie Pepples; several great-grandchildren: Wendi Ballard, Lakesha Ballard, Courtney Clingan, Jonathan Womble, Zack Johnson, Casey Clingan, Erin Campbell, Krystal Eaves, Colt Eaves and Hunter Eaves; great-great grandchildren: Kylie Clingan, Jordan Morgan, Chandler Mowery, Kiera Ballard, Brianna Ballard and Oakley Clingan; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, March 4, 2014, at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Pastor Guinn Green officiating. Interment will follow in Hilcrest Memorial Gardens with Travis Link, Devin, Link, Dewayne Roach, Dough Roach, Steve McLain, Elvis Ballard and Josh Brown serving as pallbearers. A white dove release ceremony will conclude the service.
Her family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. Tuesday prior to the service at the funeral home.
