Donald Joe Callahan, 72, a resident of Charleston, passed away Saturday, March 15, 2014 at his home. He worked in auto body repair for 53 years.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Reba Lois Burgess Callahan and his father, Elmer Callahan; brother Willie Callahan; grandson, Andrew Lee “Wiggle” Callahan.
He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Jerry Callahan; sons: Ronald Callahan and wife Lynn, Clyde Callahan and fiancé Kayla Lawson; daughters: Tina Callahan, Dorisa Stamey and husband Victor, all of Charleston; grandchildren: Bailey Holmes, Austin Callahan, Cage McDowell and Dillion Callahan.
Funeral services will be conducted at 6:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 18, 2014 in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Pastor Daniel White officiating.
The family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home prior to the service.
