Frances Alta Chase

Frances Alta Chase, 95, a resident of Cleveland, passed from this life into life eternal on Thursday, April 03, 2014. She was the oldest living member of West Cleveland Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ben John Chase; parents, Charles and Nora Musgrove; brother, L.D. Harold and granddaughter Reverend Mia Parham-Newman; son-in-law, Clyde Raper.
She is survived by her brother, D.C. “Buster” Musgrove of Bowling Green, KY; son, Ralph Ben Chase and wife, Willie of Cleveland and daughter, Rev. Alta Chase Raper of Sevierville; grandchildren: Randy Chase and wife, Debbie of Maryville, Tim Chase and wife, Cindy of Cleveland, Alta ShaRee Morgan and husband, Greg of Cleveland, Chase Blair and wife, Angela of Cleveland, John Parham and wife, Becky Eckert of Maryville, Victor Loveday of Lexington, KY, grandson-in-law, Curtis Newman of Rutledge; eleven great-grandchildren: Sydney Morgan, Tara Miller, Jennifer McClendon, Shayna Sandlin, Zach and B.J. Newman, Andrew and Ethan Blair, Isaac and Ivan Loveday and Elle Kate Whaley; three great-great-grandchildren: Cameron Miller, Jayden Blair and Gema Blair.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 pm Saturday, April 5, 2014 in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Reverend Matt Ward and Reverend Arris Cavender officiating. Interment will follow in Hilcrest Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends from 12 pm to 2 pm Saturday at the funeral home prior to the service.
