Helen L Morgan

Helen L. Morgan, 89, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Friday, May 2, 2014 in a local hospital.  She was of the Baptist faith.  She was retired from Hickory Springs Manufacturing Company.  She loved to garden, fish and pick blackberries.

Mrs. Morgan was preceded in death by her husband, James J. Morgan; parents Henry Lunsford and Pearl Lunsford; daughter, Bobbie Ballinger; son-in-law, Glenn Ballinger; brother, Luther Lunsford; nephew, Mark Lunsford; brother-in-law, Chester Lee Clark and sister-in-law, Betty Lunsford.

She is survived by her stepson, Carl Morgan; stepdaughter, Joetta Roderick, both of Rossville, GA; granddaughter, Chrystal (Tim) Sharp; great-grandson, Tucker Sharp; sister, Fannie Clark of Athens; brother, Albert Lunsford of Athens.  She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and other family members and friends.

Her family wishes to give special thanks to all of the staff of Bradley Healthcare and Rehabilitation.

Graveside services will be conducted Tuesday, May 6, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at Cedar Grove Cemetery in Athens, TN. with Reverend Stephen Stone officiating.  Pallbearers will be Tucker Sharp, Tim Sharp, Andy Sharp, Eric McKenzie, Bobby Garner and Robert Long.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Monday, May 5, 2014 at Ralph Buckner Funeral Home.
