Larry E Jordan

Larry “Jug” Jordan, 67, a lifelong resident of Bradley County, passed away May 2, 2014 at his home surrounded by his family.  He was a member of Valley View Baptist Church.

He was a graduate of the Bradley Central High School class of 1964, he was a farmer, and employed with McKenzie Fencing and Construction for more than 20 years.  He was also a Nascar enthusiast.

He was the son of the late Hoke Jordan and Trula Newman Jordan.  He was also preceded in death by his nephew Randy Watkins and niece Christy Watkins.

Survivors include his loving wife of 26 years, Juan Gardner Jordan, of Cleveland; three sisters: Helen Henley of Cleveland; Barbara Watkins and husband Dale of Kingsport, TN; and Joyce Nauman Miller of Cleveland; mother-in-law Jewel Gardner; sister-in-law Sandie Turner and her husband Dewey of Cleveland; two nieces: Sherry Watkins Cornett of Kingsport, TN and Marie Young of Alabama; two nephews: Jeff Parker of Murfreesboro, TN; James Turner and wife Jennifer of Rossville, GA; and several great nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be conducted on Monday, May 5, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Pastor Mark Cameron officiating.  Interment will follow in Cedar Springs Cemetery with McKenzie Fencing and Construction co-workers serving as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Sunday, May 4, 2014 at the funeral home.
