Michael Ray

Michael Steven Ray, 60, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Thursday, December 5, 2013 in a Knoxville hospital. He was a member of Union Grove Church of Christ. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.

He was preceded in death by his parents: Clyde and Helen M. Carver Ray; and sister: Jeanette King.

He is survived by one brother: Donald Ray of Fort Walton Beach, FL; one sister: Pat Plemons of Soddy Daisy, TN; several nieces and nephews; and special friends: Jimmy and Marlene Long of Madisonville, TN.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, December 9, 2013 in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Minister Steve Hall officiating. Interment will follow at Union Grove Church of Christ Cemetery with military honors.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 8, 2013 at the funeral home.
