Emma Juanita Dunn

August 5, 1925 — December 14, 2013

Emma Juanita Dunn, 88, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Saturday, December 14, 2013 in a local healthcare facility. She was a member of North Cleveland Baptist Church, a member of the Ocoee Order of the Eastern Star, and an accomplished seamstress.

She was preceded in death by her husband: Reverend Robert Wilburn Dunn; parents: Horace and Maggie Ross McClure; and grandson: Cory Teague.

She is survived by five children: Larry Dunn and wife Carolyn of Cleveland; Royce Dunn and wife Frances of San Diego, CA; Ruth Mantooth and husband James Randall of Alpharetta, GA; Doyle Dunn and wife Donna of Norfolk, VA; and Jan Schroll and husband Scott of Cleveland; seven grandchildren: Brent Mantooth of Baltimore, MD; Karen Zinzen of Berlin, Germany; Kelly Gutierrez of Alpharetta, GA; Rachel Stewart of San Diego, CA; Adriel Dunn of Fort Dix, NJ; Emily Prichard of Baltimore, MD; and Heather Teague of Shaw Air Force Base, SC; and ten great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 17, 2013 in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Dr. Jay McCluskey and Navy Chaplain Doyle Dunn officiating. Entombment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. A white dove release ceremony will conclude the service.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, December 16, 2013 at the funeral home.

The family suggests memorials be made to the Alzheimer’s Association or to North Cleveland Baptist Church.
